BAOC Wednesday events Blue Course Old Windmill Hills (06-04-2016)

Some difficulties. Post 5 in in the depression north of the path, not south (as on the map).Had I gone straight (instead of using the depression up the hill) I would have stumbled over it, like others. Post 8 I cannot read the trench structure and pass teh post before I find it....9 is on a bush further to the east, until here the planning was ok. 10-11 I get lost in the maze of pathes, I have difficulties with the left hand compass I took, Think I am on the path bend to the east, but are on the road.....to 12 bad planning, should have used teh path higher up the hill from 11. !3 I fail to read contours, big mistake. At the end unhappy, unconcentratet, what I pay with turn around the fence....Nice area in parts, bluebelles not yet out....
